Lodging

The Hostel is a log home with just under 4000 sq ft of living space, and sits on a little over three acres of land with great mountain views all around. In addition to our room and bathroom (this is our home, as well), there are five guest rooms. Three of the rooms are bunk-style rooms and can accommodate four people each, while the other two are private rooms with a double or queen sized bed. We provide all bed linens, pillows and blankets. Each room also has its own bathroom, stocked with bath towels, hand towels, washcloths and basic hygiene products.

Rates:
      Bunk - $18/person
Private - $42 based on double occupancy
      All overnight stays include breakfast

Breakfast

Breakfast is included for all guests who stay overnight. There isn't a definite menu, but we typically prepare something along the lines of pancakes, waffles or French Toast along with some side items such as eggs, grits (for you Southerners) and/or oatmeal. Coffee, hot tea, juice and water are always available during breakfast. If you prefer something else, it never hurts to ask!

If none of these items suit your taste, we can probably find some PopTarts in the hiker box and maybe even toast them!

If you have special dietary needs, we'll do our best to accommodate you. Please let us know in advance, so we can be prepared!

Laundry

We have laundry facilities for guests. Laundry (wash/dry/detergent) is $3 per load.

Showers

Showers are included with overnight stays, but we also offer showers for people just passing through. Showers are $3.00/person and include towel and soap.

Kitchen Facilities

We have a full kitchen just for guests to use. It is stocked with dishes, glasses, silverware and pots and pans. All we ask is that you completely clean up after yourself for the next person. There is also a refrigerator where you can keep that leftover pizza, or it you're staying for a few days, stock up on groceries.

Internet/Phone

There is a "community" computer available with internet access so you can check/send email or take care of any other business before hitting the trail. Wireless internet is also available. If you need to make phone calls, that's no problem either. Just make sure you have a calling card of some sort if it's long distance.

There is no time limit for either computer or phone usage, but please be considerate of other guests who also need to use these services.
