The Season Is Changing

The fall season has officially arrived here in Dahlonega and as many of you know, this is prime time to be in the mountains. As the humidity, temperature, and the leaves begin to fall, now is one of the best times to get outdoors and enjoy all that Dahlonega has to offer. While many of our guests come to hike the trails, ride the gaps, see the sights, visit the wineries or explore the historic square, others just want to “get away from it all” and have a comfortable, relaxing bed and breakfast experience in the woods. When you’re at the Hiker Hostel, you’re not just “spending the night at a hostel”, nor are you “just a guest at a bed and breakfast”…you feel at home.
With all that being said, it’s no wonder that October is one of our busiest months. Over the past few weeks, we have received countless phone calls and reservation requests from folks trying to book accommodations, only to be disappointed to hear that October has been practically booked solid since last month! In fact, we are already filling up fast for October 2015! So, if you’re thinking about visiting the Dahlonega area this time next year, remember to book early!
